What Cueable does

From notes to
knowing.

Cueable turns a pile of things you need to remember into a changing practice route you can actually follow.

01
Bring what you know

Cards in. Friction out.

Write cards in Cueable, import CSV or supported Anki decks, or turn a set of notes into a richer Cuepack.

02
Practise actively

Recall, not recognition.

Cueable moves beyond flipping cards with typed answers, cloze, Scramble, Link, Ghost, Repair, Outline and spoken interviews.

03
Adapt the route

Your deadline. Your memory.

FSRS estimates what is fading, while deadline plans reshape each session around what matters next.

Built for the messy middle

Everything between
“I saw it” and “I know it.”

Cueable is the part Anki leaves up to you: making practice varied, planning around a real date and turning progress into something you can feel.

Adaptive plans

Set a deadline. Cueable schedules the right cards, changes the mix after every session and keeps review out of the middle of the night.

Practice that changes shape

Recall, typed answers, cloze, Scramble, Link, Ghost, Repair, Select, Outline, quote games and more.

Interview out loud

Hear the question, answer naturally and get a spoken verdict from on-device intelligence.

Bring your decks

Import CSV, Anki .apkg decks and images, or make and edit cards directly inside Cueable.

Make cards your way

Create cards in Cueable, import existing decks, or turn notes into structured activities with a Cuepack.

Private by design

Study data stays on your devices, with optional private iCloud syncing. There is no Cueable login, ad tracking or AI training.

Cuepacks

Your notes,
made playable.

Give your notes to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or another capable AI with the free Cueable creator skill. Open the resulting Cuepack and it arrives with cards, hints, essay structure, images and purpose-built activities.

Private means private

Your memory stays yours.

Cueable keeps study content on your devices, with optional syncing through your private iCloud database. Apple handles purchases and RevenueCat receives only limited purchase information—never your notes, cards or learning history.

01What is Cueable?

Cueable is an unreleased, private study app planned for iPhone, iPad and Mac. It combines FSRS-based spaced repetition, active-recall activities, deadline plans, typed responses, interview practice and Cuepack imports.

02How does Cueable differ from Anki?

Anki is more mature for plugins and community add-ons. Cueable focuses on a native Apple-device experience, visual practice activities, deadline-aware plans, on-device feedback and a simpler way to turn notes into study material.

03Does Cueable use my data to train AI?

No. Study content is processed on your devices and is not used to train AI. Optional CloudKit sync stores eligible study data in your private iCloud database; purchase services receive limited transaction information, not your notes or cards.

04What can I import into Cueable?

Cueable imports CSV files, supported Anki .apkg decks and Cuepacks. Cuepacks can include cards, images, hints, essay structure and purpose-built practice activities.

05Why does Cueable require macOS 26?

Cueable uses macOS 26 frameworks for its on-device intelligence, speech features and liquid-glass interface. Cueable is built for Apple silicon Macs.

Flashcards are so boring. Here’s why.

The problem is rarely the cards. It is repeating the same mental action until attention disappears.
